A Slight Pen Fixation

Are you possessed of a perfectly good laptop computer to write on, yet find yourself drawn to the school supplies section of your local grocery store?

Do you find that you own way more pens than a person strictly needs?

Is it dangerous for you to go into a stationery store?

Do you own more than ten beautiful journals with, at most, a few pages written on here and there?

Is there a chronic overstock of loose leaf paper, spiral notebooks and parchment at your house?

Are you one of those people who really wishes they’d bring back narrow rule as a standard, rather than just a few high-class notepads in office supply stores?

The good news is, you’re not alone!

The bad news is, there’s no cure. 😉

I am always looking for the perfect tool and especially the perfect pen. Laptops are great but sometimes to heavy to carry around. Simple tools bring us back to the beginning of our journey when we first began to write and enjoyed the power of the pen.

That’s very true. I have a habit of starting a piece in longhand, and then moving it to the computer only when I feel that it’s really working. It’s also a remembrance; I spent much of my life writing whole novels in notebooks.

And I really love those pretty journals.
